The LOGO WALL FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions)

What is LOGO WALL Advertising or Sponsorship?
Logo Wall Advertising is a low cost form of online marketing that has some advantages over banner or other forms of online advertising. Whereas traditional online advertising revolves around pay for placement and pay for click, block Sponsors pay only once, and their advertisement will run for anywhere from 1 to 5 years. Over the lifetime of the ad, a second benefit is the backlinks to the advertiser's website which can be important in terms of search engine placement.

What am I paying for?
Blocks of Pixels.
You can pay extra for a hyperlink to your own web site or functionality such as a roll over feature or a pop zoom feature. (see examples). The picture can either be of you or your company logo (no inappropriate images). The picture you submit can be changed, but it must remain online for no less than 6 months. If you wish to change your picture, please email a new picture to us.

How do I pay?
You only pay when your advert appears live on the site. We then send you a PayPal 'request for payment' notice. On receipt of this email, by clicking on the link provided, you can pay either by PayPal or Credit Card (Note: payment must be made within 7 days or the advert is removed).

Why should I use LOGO WALL Sponsorship ?
It is the cheapest form of online marketing.

What type of ads are acceptable?
Logo-wall.co.uk DOES NOT accept adult, porn, hacker, warez or any sites linking to or promoting such content. We always check this. If you submit an image or link that is found to break this condition, you will be asked to provide an alternative url, NO money will be refunded and the blocks will be sold to another party if you are unable to provide an alternative link/image.

Logo Wall Sponsorship VS. PPC (Pay Per Click)
Those familiar with PPC campaigns understand that keyword bidding generally runs .10 per click or higher for valued keywords. Not all of the clicks you pay for are what they appear to be, some of those clicks could be from competitors and grudge clickers who know you lose money every time they click, all of which costs you more money than you think in the long run.

How do Charities benefit?
Logo Wall donates all proceeds from sponsorship (less costs) to the main feature charity. For example, the St.David's Day Parade . If all blocks are sponsored this will generate proceeds of approximately £5,000.
